Celebrations is a fine dining restaurant established in 1997 by James and Pat Allen in the historic downtown area of Cape Girardeau. Our menus are inspired by the fresh seasonal products that we are able to have flown in from all parts of the country, as well as our excellent local growers, such as Show Me Fresh Farms, Hinkebein Hills Farm, and Farrar Out Farms. We believe that using the freshest products available is the beginning of the understanding of good food. We strive to work with only the finest ingredients that are grown in their native and adapted soils. Our menus are primarily composed of seasonal ingredients year round, and achieved through our partnership with a large network of small-scale farms and fisheries. These farmers provide most of our meats, dairy, produce, and seafood. Our culinary options remain; creative, delicious, and reliant throughout the entire year, because of this network.
Celebrations emphasizes personable service in a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere: in a very unique building, parts of which date to the 1850's. Weather permitting we also offer outside dining in our courtyard and in our patio. We have a full service bar adjacent to our reception area. Separate dining is available for groups up to 75 in our studio.
Our award winning wine list, winner of Wine Spectators Award of Excellence, surveys most wine regions of the world with a particular emphasis on the small, artisan producers of California and the Pacific Northwest. All of our wines are poured in Riedel Glasses.
